    MSA Museum Special Events 2008

• May 1 - 2.  Fraser Valley Regional Historica Fair. This project of the MSA Museum Society allows 120 students to showcase their Canadian heritage projects.  Student Activity Centre - UCFV. May 1 - 7:30pm - 8:30pm. May 2 - 9:00am - 3:00pm.

   MSA Museum Exhibits and Programs 2008

• All year- exhibit in Heritage Gallery at Trethewey House, 2313 Ware Street.   Abbotsford Lumber Company - once the third largest forestry employer in the province!  Open 1 - 5, Monday to Friday except holidays and in July and August, also open Saturday.

• January 14 - April 25 "Our 150 Favourite Things" at the MSA Museum  Annex. The annex staff celebrate B.C.'s sesquicentennial with this display of their top picks from the extensive museum reserve collection.

• January - August 30 "BC Centennial 1858-1958"  Popular memorabilia from the 1958 centennial celebrations including "Centennial Sam".

•  Mid May - August 30 "Relive the Fifties"  Come relive the fashions and fads from this exciting era in history.  What was Abbotsford like at that time?  Take a stroll down memory lane or come to see what the fuss was all about.  MSA Museum Annex.
