LOCAL ARTIFACT COLLECTION
In accordance with its mandate to the public, the MSA Museum
has
collected artifacts that help interpret local history. Items from the
Reserve Collection will be used in the temporary and/or open storage
showcases in the MSA Museum Annex.
Our collection contains, but is not limited to, artifacts from the following
areas:
- major local industries, especially logging
- pioneer settlement and home life
- the early years of Abbotsford's diverse cultural foundations
- clothing and costumes
- the reclamation of Sumas - the lake that disappeared!
