CELEBRATING 150 YEARS OF B.C.
HISTORY

The Regional
Fair was held on May 1 and 2nd in the Student Activity Centre at the University College
if the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford. It is organized by
the MSA Museum Society with support from the History Department of
UCFV. Student delegates displayed their projects, participated in
heritage workshops and underwent an evaluation process.
The Fraser
Valley Regional Fair is one of thirteen fairs held in the province and
over 1100 Regional Fairs held across the country. Six students
from each of B.C.'s Regional Fair sites will attend the first Provincial
Historica Fair in Kamloops. In July, each
province and territory will send a delegation of students with their
projects to the non-competitive National Fair in Victoria, B. C. These 165

bond with peers from across the country and participate in a public
showcase of their work.
