TATTOO OUR MOOSE” CONTEST

The “Tattoo Our Moose” Contest asks students to create a tattoo for a fictional moose who likes designs with a Canadian theme.  Students aged 9 to 15 may enter this contest by submitting their tattoos to Historica. Acceptable media are: coloured pencils, crayons, felt pens, paints, paper cutouts and computer designs.  All tattoos must fit in the space on the contest entry form, but not necessarily fill it completely.  Students may enter as many times as they like, as long as the tattoos celebrate Canadian heritage or culture.

Winners are picked by the Historica Foundation.  The best tattoos are ones that catch the eye with solid lines and strong colours, and also tell a story about Canada's heritage.  Winning entries from across Canada will be posted on the Historica website.  Check last year’s winners for ideas!
